Abe Miller, the owner of Dick's Hamburgers has died. Dicks, not the same as the chain in Seattle, has been a Spokane a landmark at Third and Division for over 40 years.

Mr. Miller must well into his 90's

My story about options for the modern digital shoebox (how to store videos, photos, music) is now live over at the Spokesman-Review. Since I was in the mood for nostalgia, I did the video in the form of a filmstrip. If you did not have the pleasure (???) of watching a filmstrip while in school, I give a quick intro of what they were during the movie too.
